I am a positive, enthusiastic and friendly person who is eager to teach Japanese. I have been teaching Japanese for 10 years and always enjoy working with students and seeing their progress.
I worked in a public High School in Detroit, Michigan for 2 years. After that I returned to Japan and worked at the YWCA for 6 years. These experiences inspired me to open up my own school.
I would like to be a bridge through which people can come to understand the Japanese language and culture. I would like you to know how easy and enjoyable it can be to learn Japanese.

Hello there.
Struggling with Nihongo? You came to the right place. Foreign language learning takes a great deal of time and practice, because you are learning a special skill. Having studied three foreign languages so far, I know how rewarding it is to acquire such special skills, and I know how fun it is to be able to communicate with people in the target language. If you can speak Japanese, it will make your life in Japan a lot easier and enjoyable. I bet it will also help you make more friends. You can understand what they're saying and they can understand what you're saying, all in Japanese. No interpreter involved. That's fun, isn't it? To help you feel this sheer joy, I'm here to assist you.
